A local landlord juggling four investment properties across three states has taken time out of his busy morning to weigh in on a Facebook post asking who would win a 1200m match race between superstar sprinters Ka Ying Rising and Black Caviar.

While many page followers thought a hypothetical clash between two modern day sprinting greats worthy of discussion, Kevin Sowerby, 67, quickly put an end to “all that nonsense”.

Sowerby, who discovered Facebook in 2019, responded to the post at 6:42am with the comment: "Heard it all before. You can't compare champions from different eras”.

The Pakistan Star understands Sowerby’s comment was published beneath the post four times in under a minute, with the same comment appearing a fifth time, several minutes later.

Sowerby, who owns properties in Mosman, Gold Coast and a "granny flat situation" in Traralgon he insists is "basically passive," said he was looking forward to making the same point about Winx and Kingston Town, should an opportunity present itself.

When questioned further by this masthead, Sowerby did however assert that “Kingston Town is still the best I’ve seen”.

More to follow.
