A local man has single-handedly propelled his team ‘Les Quizerables’ to pub trivia victory after scoring a ‘perfect 10’ in the Australian geography round. 

27-year-old Trent Buglione was a study in concentration at the Elephant Juice Hotel as he methodically took complete control of the quiz.

“As soon as he heard the first question, “What state is Carnarvon in?”, he just grabbed the answer sheet off me and started writing,” one stunned teammate said.

“Tuncurry, Kilcoy, Leeton, he knew them all. There was no consultation with the group whatsoever.”

When questioned by his awestruck teammates as to how he managed to acquire such comprehensive knowledge of Australian geography, Buglione credited a penchant for punting “off Broadway” on the far-flung meetings that fill Sky Racing's second channel.
