A recent report has confirmed that Toowoomba galloper Incentivise absolutely pissed in the 2021 Caulfield Cup, ending a long-running dispute among punters over whether he “pissed in” or “shat in”.

Experts were largely split, with the report ultimately favouring “pissed in”, a verdict supported by the number of Incentivise backers who got pissed that night.

The Pakistan Star understands the “shit in” camp unsuccessfully argued that the term was the more historically accepted one.

The peer-reviewed report was however unanimous in its finding that punters who took the $2.70 initially offered about the ‘Pride of Toowoomba’ on-course enjoyed “an absolute fill-up”, made all the more glorious by one of the most comfortable watches in Caulfield Cup history.

The effortless victory was Incentivise’s ninth in a row, according to the report, with the unexpected streak coming on the back of a 16-length defeat as an even-money favourite in a Toowoomba maiden.

The horse victorious in that 1850m maiden, Golden Goal, is understood to have been ‘slightly less successful’ than $5.7m earner Incentivise from that point onwards, retiring with a modest $24,375 in prizemoney.
