Local punter Phil Moon has not posted a winning or losing Saturday since 2014, according to his wife Brenda.

“I ask him how his day on the horses went and the answer never changes: ‘I broke even’,”  the 44-year-old mother of two told this masthead.

“It’s quite amazing really.”

“He seems to have an uncanny knack for finding the winner of the last, and that always gets him back to square.”

When contacted by our reporters Phil Moon declined to comment.
